WWE Wrestlemania 34 2018 Match By Match Predictions

  1. AJ Styles (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – After winning the 30-Man Royal Rumble, Nakamura had his choice of WrestleMania opponent and immediately called out Styles as the two rekindle their rivalry from New Japan Pro-Wrestling. This should be a “smart” fan’s dream, and while it is unlikely to main event the show, it may very well be the match of the evening in New Orleans.

Prediction – Nakamura Has A Chance To Win

2. Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns – What I think will happen is that Reigns finds a way to hold on to his Universal Championship even if it comes by disqualification.

Prediction – Roman Reigns RETAINS the WWE Universal Championship

3. The Undertaker vs. John Cena Match – I believe has done a very good job of making people want to see this match considering UnderTaker and John Cena are on separate brands.

Despite that, WWE has managed to generate some heat between the two and have told a story that is worthy of the main event of the show.
However, all of the great storytelling in the world will not convince me that John Cena is walking out of this match as the winner.
Prediction – John Cena
4. Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Asuka OR Nia Jax – With Asuka winning the first women’s Royal Rumble, she will have her choice of opponent at WrestleMania. Ultimately, I think that will be then-women’s champion Sasha Banks, but she does not have the strap right now, so Bliss is a placeholder. Banks-Asuka was teased at the Royal Rumble, and it was a big-time moment. If Bliss does keep the title, it would make sense for her to go up against her real-life best friend and on-screen frenemy in Nia Jax.
Prediction – Asuka OR Nia Jax Win
5. Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey OR Asuka – Asuka  winning the belt on “RAW” took some juice out of this rivalry, if only because it seemed for so long like she’d finally overcome Charlotte at a major pay-per-view event. These two are phenomenal in the ring, though, so it should be an excellent match perhaps one of the evening’s best regardless of the outcome.
Prediction – Charlotte or Asuka Winning The Belt
6. The Miz (c) vs. Finn Balor or Braun Strowman – If The Miz is wrestling here and he isn’t dropping the title to Braun Strowman, I think we’ll see him dropping it to Finn Balor. That way, The Miztourage can be ringside in support of The Miz while Finn Balor will have backup in Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
Prediction – Braun Strowman Win
7. The Usos (c) vs. The Bludgeon Brothers – It initially looked like WWE was going to roll with this match for Fastlane, but now it appears as if it is going to be built up another month-plus for WrestleMania 34.
Prediction – If this Happen The Bludgeon Brothers Surely Wins
8. The Bar, The Revival, or The Balor Club – Perhaps they just throw all effort out the window and have another multi-team match per usual that includes The Bar, The Revival, and The Balor Club? We might be able to use The Authors of Pain here if they don’t go to SmackDown.
Prediction – TBD
9. Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon – Should Rousey not immediately get a title match against Flair, a tag team (or mixed tag team) match could be on the horizon. Perhaps there is a reason WWE is promoting the Mixed Match Challenge so hard. This could potentially be a call-back to the WrestleMania 31 incident between Rousey and The Rock along with McMahon and Triple H. There is also the potential for Batista to get involved here as he’s made it known he wants back in WWE. Or Rousey could team up with Raw general manager Kurt Angle, who looked to be prepared for a storyline with Tripel H coming out of Survivor Series.
Prediction – Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey win.
10. Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe OR Finn Balor – With Jason Jordan dealing with an ailing neck, Rollins does not have a clear path to ‘Mania. Samoa Joe is coming off a foot injury and is expected to be cleared in March. Balor similarly does not have an obvious storyline leading into the big show, though there was the spot with Rollins’ Black Out finisher that could create some animosity between the two.
Prediction – Definitely Seth Rollins Wins
11. Andre The Giant Battle Royal Match – So This Is Mystery Match Seriously I Have No Idea About This Match
Prediction – ?????????
